AGE DIVISIONS -

Per TN Soccer, children are placed in age divisions based on the year of birth. Recreational soccer plays the following divisions - U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19. The "U" in these divisions means "Under", so for example U10 would consist of players UNDER the age of 10 meaning ages 8 and 9.

If you create an account and login on our website you will be directed to the appropriate age division based on birth year. Our system places them in the correct division.

Please note that recreational soccer age divisions are separated into age groupings of 2 years (u6, u8, u10, u12, u14, etc...).  For instance, if your child is 7, he or she will be on a U8 team. “U” in this case means under. TN State Soccer Association rules state that we go by the birth year of the player.
