Julie Roy

Julie Roy enters her first year with The Mules in the Spring of 2020. Roy, a Maine native serves many pitchers throughout the state as a pitching coach.

Roy graduated from South Portland High School in 2008.  Her senior year she completed the season with a 0.53 ERA. She was Forecaster 2008 Spring Player of the Year, awarded MVP Senior for class A, and three year All-state 1st team for pitcher & first base. 

After her high school career, Roy took her considerable talents to Division-1 Niagara University. Roy threw two no-hitters, led her team in wins, complete games, strikeouts, and innings pitched and was named second team all-conference (MAAC) and also to the conference (MAAC) all-tournament team. Roy holds the record for NU’s single-season record for the most wins in a season. 

Roy received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy  from the University of Southern Maine. Roy currently practices as an Occupational Therapist for the MaineHealth system. 

Julie and her husband Josh have two children, Natalie & Camden.
