Clarkdale Eagles Summer Baseball Academy
This is the registration form for our Summer academy. The emphasis of the program will be developing and preparing kids to move up to the next age level. While all players are welcome to participate, practices and games will be geared towards experienced players. Spots are limited and will be based on the number of coaches and volunteers. Previous participation in our recreational program is not a requirement. 

The cost for the academy will be between $100-250 for most participants. 40% of the total cost will be due at the first practice. The balance will be payable in installments every 2 weeks. We will practice 2-3 days per week and the registration fee will include 3 weekend tournaments and a uniform. 

One of the main benefits of our Summer academy is lower tournament entry costs through our partnership with 17 Baseball. We will host a few tournaments at Clarkdale Park this Summer but we cannot guarantee all age groups will be held at Clarkdale. We typically host 9U, 10U, 12U, and 13U but will also host some 8U. Weather can also impact our location. If a particular age division is not playing at Clarkdale Park on any given weekend, they typically play within 1 hour of Clarkdale.

USEFUL INFO FOR FIRST TIME TOURNAMENT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS
Tournament baseball is exciting! It also requires a tremendous amount of flexibility and patience! Weekend tournaments are typically 3 guaranteed games. 2 pool play games are played on Saturday (sometimes a Friday evening for larger tournaments). Results from pool play set up the brackets for Sunday games which are win or go home. 

The tournament directors set the schedules and post them on their respective websites when they are finalized. Schedules are typically posted by 3 PM on the Wednesday before the tournament. In other words, don't even try to make plans for Saturdays until you know game times because they could be at 8 AM or 4 PM. Sunday game times are never known until all games on Saturday are complete. In other words, don't even try to make plans for Sundays until about 9 PM on Saturday. If it sounds chaotic, know that it is at times!  But it's also tons of fun for the kids and families. The teams become one big family for the Summer! *
