The success of KMLL depends on parent participation and this is especially true for our Snack Shack. The Snack Shack provides an important source of revenue to help offset operating expenses, such as picture day, jerseys, etc., To make the snack shack a success, we are dependent on families within our league. Our goal is to have enough coverage so the Snack Shack remains open for business for all scheduled games. 

You can sign up for your Snack Shack commitment on (SignUpGenius Coming Soon!).  Our snack shack slots are set up automatically as 2 hour shifts. Of course, for those of you who are willing and able, we are happy to have you volunteer more!

ProTip: If you cannot commit to a full two hour shift, you may decide to split your shift with another parent- one parent could do their half at the beginning of a game (i.e.  before the game starts) and the other parent can handle the second half of the shift (the game is ending). This is also a great opportunity to meet other families in the league.  Many families plan their shifts together to make it more fun!

Snack Shack FAQs:

• A KMLL Board Member or Snack Shack Manager will help open and close the snack bar.
• You should arrive 15 minutes before your shift and stay until your relief from the next Volunteer(s) working arrives, or until closing if you have the last shift of the day.
• If you’re feeling unwell or have had a fever 24 hours before your shift, please plan on staying home and let your team parent know you will not be able to make your shift. We kindly ask that you sign up for another shift to make up for the missed one.
• All snack shack volunteers MUST wear closed toed shoes.
• If your shift is canceled due to inclement weather and the fields are closed, please sign up for another shift. 
• Do I HAVE to work during my child’s game? No. It is up to you whether you work during your child’s game or choose another shift to work.
