You will see an option like: "Registration For - Boys Age 5" This is where you register players. FAILURE to register by age will place your child in the incorrect division.

Boys ages 4-18 and Girls ages 4-15 who reside in or attend a school in the Boardman Local School District, South Range School District, attend Valley Christian, St. Christine, St. Charles or Kirkmere Elementary can register to play at the Fields of Dreams.
********************************************** REMINDERS 2024 Season *********************************************
Beginning with the 2020 Season, an additional $3/transaction was added to ALL registrations. This charge is by
BCB's website host, Sports Connect. BCB does not receive any part of this administrative fee.
• If you are a returning parent, you will notice new branding on the site. But, all your information is still under your account.
• Sports Connect continues to be a recognized partner with Little League for registration and league management.
• BCB will continue to absorb ALL the credit card processing fees for families as we have in past years.
• BCB chose to continue utilizing the resources Sports Connect offers to manage our league as they offer the best solution
and are so closely associated with Little League.
Again, for 2024 registration - BCB will register players by age.

Payment plans are available as an option again this year if you register by Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
•You can split the cost of playing baseball/softball at BCB into three payments (two for Boys 15-18 Colt). With only a $10 payment plan additional cost/player and a $3/transaction fee added by BCB's host Sports Connect.
•Your first payment is due when you register and the second payment isn't due until Saturday, February 17, 2024 as long as you register by the February 7, 2024 deadline. The third payment is due Saturday, March 16, 2024.
•Payment plans only accept Visa/MC for payment. The second and third payments will be automatically deducted from your card on the scheduled dates. NO payment plans can be initiated after the Wednesday, February 7, 2024 deadline.
•Your first payment will include the $50 BCB fundraiser and only $1 toward the division price, plus the $3 Sports Connect fee.
•The remaining payments will divide equally the balance of the division cost, the payment plan cost and the $3 transaction fee from Sports Connect. BCB divides the cost this way trying to balance each of the monthly payments as closely as possible.
Example:
Registering one 4-year-old player - $90
Fundraiser - $50
Payment Plan - $10
Online transaction fee by Sports Connect - $9 ($3 for each of the payment plan transactions)
Total $159
•Payment 1 (due at time of registration) - $54 ($1 toward the division cost, $50 Fundraiser and $3 Sports Connect transaction fee)
•Payment 2 - February 18- $53 ($45 goes towards the division cost, $5 Payment Plan Cost and $3 Sports Connect transaction fee)
•Payment 3 - March 18- $52 ($44 goes towards the division cost, $5 Payment Plan Cost and $3 Sports Connect transaction fee)
A discount of $10/player will be applied for each child after the first one. The fundraiser will only be charged for first two players registered. *****************************************************************************************************************************
Fundraiser --- You will receive 12 discount cards in the mail by March 1. This year’s card has 20 local businesses on it and is good from March 1, 2024 to Feb 28, 2025. Sell the cards for $5 each ($60) and this gives you an additional $10 off your registration.
This will only apply to the first two players in each family.

received after Wednesday, February 7, 2024 | As we look forward with great anticipation to opening day 2024 at the Fields of Dreams, we continue our goal of providing the youth of Boardman with the best possible baseball or softball experience.
To participate your child must be 4 years old by:
• DECEMBER 31, 2023 FOR GIRLS DIVISIONS
• AUGUST 31, 2024 FOR BOYS DIVISIONS
The division your child will play in is determined by their baseball age. See the charts below to determine their baseball age. When you register, you will only see the divisions available to you based on gender and age.
• Please review the 2024 BCB program structure at bottom of this page to see in which initial division you should select.
• If your child played at BCB last summer, log into your Sports Connect account where your registration and player info is stored from last year. If you forgot your user name or password, it can be resent to you when you login.

Accounts are free and the information collected will allow BCB to keep you informed throughout the season. Some of the features of the system will allow BCB to text and email important information directly to specific teams or divisions. Your first step to register in the Sports Connect system will be to select one of the green Register Now buttons on this page. You will be taken to a list of available age divisions. You can select one or just go to the top right of the page and select register.

Once you have setup your account you can begin your child's registration. REMEMBER - as the parent or guardian, you are the primary account holder and your child is the participant. | If you would like to submit an application to be a Manager or Coach this can be completed when you register your child.

You can create an account and submit a volunteer application without registration. Please only volunteer for one age division even though you want to be considered for more than one. The application will ask you what league and division(s) you want to Manage/Coach. |

Boardman Community Baseball is a Little League chartered organization and is obligated to implement regulations adopted by Little League International. For 2024 we will be using the Little League Baseball and Softball age determination dates, see the charts and links below for more information.

• Mushball -- 4-5-6-year-olds (Co-ed)
Basic skills taught, coach pitch, tee used if needed, emphasis on learning and having fun.
• Minor -- 6-7-8-year-olds
Faster pace and more competitive play; Little League hard ball is used. Basic skills taught, coach/kid pitch emphasis on learning and teamwork.
• Junior Varsity -- 8-9-10-year-olds Player pitch and Little League baseball rules apply. Players pitch and are assigned according to draft and skill level.
• Varsity -- 10-11-12-year-olds
Little League Baseball Rules apply. Competitive baseball is played at this level. Players assigned according to draft and skill level.
• Jr. League/PONY -- 13-14-year-olds
Jr. League Little League/Tri-T PONY
Home games are at the Fields of Dreams with away games played at surrounding communities.
• Colt - 15-18-year-olds
Tri-T Colt League
Home games are at the Fields of Dreams with away games played at surrounding communities.

Player pitch and most Little League rules apply. Basic skills taught, players pitch and assigned by draft and skill level. Play in surrounding communities and Fields of Dreams.
• Varsity -- 10-11-12-year-olds
Little League Softball rules will apply at home games. Competitive softball played at this level. Players assigned by draft. Play in surrounding communities and the Fields of Dreams.
• Jr. League/PONY -- 13-14-15-year-olds
Jr. League Little League/Tri-T PONY
Home games are at the Fields of Dreams with away games played at surrounding communities.
