**PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS**

**OUR NEXT REGISTRATION PERIOD WILL BEGIN ON JUNE 1, 2024**

1. Under the Registration Info tab, you will see an option for Available Programs. Please keep in mind that your registration is not complete until payment is complete. You will receive a confirmation email upon completion of the registration process. If you do not receive a confirmation email/have not completed payment, your child is not considered to be registered.
   
   
2. Please have a picture of each player and a player birth certificate (each in .jpeg format and less than 512KB in size) available during registration.  The system will not allow you to go back and add the birth certificate at a later date so please add both at the appropriate step. In addition, please have a completed Top Soccer Medical Form available during registration if registering a child for TopSoccer. TopSoccer players are required to be cleared to play by a physician prior to participating in TopSoccer. 
   
   
3. If you have registered before, please login using your user name and password.  If you are new, please create a new account and password. Please note that your username and password are specific to your North Allegheny Soccer Club Sports Connect account. Other youth sports activities may also use Sports Connect. Please do not confuse an account for another activity with your NASC Sports Connect account. If you are experiencing any account problems or other technical issues, please contact the Sports Connect support team by visiting this the Sports Connect Help Center and submitting a request.
   
   NOTE: If the "reset password" function is not working for you, please use a computer or a laptop through a browser like Google Chrome. You may also use a private browser or clear the browser's cache and cookies to allow access to the "reset password" function.
   
   
4. Please indicate during the registration process if you are willing to coach or assistant coach as well as volunteer for other roles like TopSoccer Buddy at the appropriate stage of the process.  You will need to go back and register yourself as a coach and provide clearances/certifications once you are done registering your child.
   

US Soccer organizes age groups by birth year as shown in the table below. The upcoming season is the fall of 2024. This corresponds to the 2024-2025 column. Please note that players born in 2021 or after are not eligible to play in the soccer club this season. This is because our insurance does not permit players born after the 2020 birth year.

 

The system will not allow your child to register for the incorrect age group so long as his/her birthdate is properly entered into the system. Note that some age groups in North Allegheny Soccer Club are combined. For example, our U8 age group is U7/U8 combined.

In-House: 

Your child will be considered an in-house player if he/she is:

- U5, U6, U7, or U8.
- U9 or U10 and has not attended travel tryouts.
- U9 or U10 and attended travel tryouts but has not been placed on a D4 or D5 travel team roster.

Travel:

Your child will be considered a travel player if he/she is:

- U9 or U10, attended tryouts, and has been placed on a D4 or D5 travel team roster.
- U11 or older

TopSoccer:

Your child will be considered a TopSoccer player if U5 - U18 with an intellectual, physical, and/or emotional disability.

*Early Bird discount is available until 11:59 PM on June 30, 2024.

Registration ends on:

Waitlist Registration ends on:

August 4, 2024 for Travel 
August 18, 2024 for In-House and TopSoccer

*Waitlist registration is first-come, first serve. It is based on remaining spots available due to league construction after the registration period ends. There is no way to guarantee a waitlisted player a place to play. Please follow the same instructions to register for the waitlist as you would for our typical registration.

Play Up:

Play up requests can be made via this form.

Play Down:

Players are generally not permitted to play down. Being small in size, having a friend in a younger age group, being an inexperienced player, or having a birthday close to the cutoff date will not qualify as a justification for a player playing down.

 

Parents can submit a request to the board president at [email protected] if there are extenuating circumstances for a child. The board will review such requests on a case-by-case basis. Please ensure there are justifications other than those named above when submitting such a request.
