Who we are:

The National Christian HomeSchool Championships (NCHC) and our website NCHCLive.com is the Worldwide Leader in HomeSchool Sports. The NCHC hosts 27 National, Regional, and District Sporting Events across 7 States (Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Indiana, and Texas, and California). These events include Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country, Golf and Track and Field. All together these events have 12,000 student athlete participants and over 25,000 fans.

Our primary mission is to provide an environment that recognizes HomeSchool student accomplishment, provides a positive atmosphere for HomeSchool athletes, and showcases a positive view of HomeSchool Sports and student athletes. Additionally, our goal is to provide a way for HomeSchool friendly colleges, businesses, and organizations to connect with our target demographic in an economical and effective way.

2020 would have been the twelfth consecutive year for Springfield, MO to be the host of the National Basketball Tournament. Presented by the Greater Springfield Sports Commission, the event features teams of Homeschool players from across the United States and includes contests in elementary, junior high school, junior varsity, and varsity age groups.

For the last 25+ years, Nationals has been the largest homeschool sporting event in the world. Over the last 3 years combined, the National Tournaments attracted a staggering 1,000+ Homeschool basketball teams to Springfield, MO! This year alone, more than 350 teams planned to travel to Springfield for Nationals.

In regards to the 2020 Nationals, Rob Flatt, Executive Director of the NCHBC previously said, “We’re extremely excited about the 2020 championships. We’re looking forward to the participation of talented athletes from all across the country. Springfield is a great central location for teams to travel to. We anticipate that the 2020 National Tournament will set another record for the largest Homeschool sports tournament in the world. I am personally encouraged each year as I watch Homeschool athletes getting the opportunity to play in incredibly epic battles in front of thousands of fans almost every night during Nationals. To see first hand how far Homeschool basketball has come over the past two decades is amazing. Friday night is always special as we fill the championship venue, this year at Drury University, with thousands of fans for the biggest games of the year.”

Our goal with this campaign is to help recuperate costs so that we can continue putting on this National Tournament and continue to provide an avenue for homeschool athletes to flourish and be recognized for their hard work.
