NPSC COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL
This Safety Protocol is based on up-to-date CDC Guidelines and the New Jersey Department of Health Guidance for Sports Activities.
For the safety of everyone participating in New Providence Soccer Club (“NPSC”) programs and activities, the following safety protocols are in place. These protocols may change as new guidance is issued by the state of New Jersey, and changes will be communicated to all participants. The most recent version of the Safety Protocol can be found on our website for your reference.
Waiver & Acknowledgement of our Protocols:
All NPSC players, coaches and managers must sign a completed waiver and acknowledgement of the protocols before attending their 1st session. You will receive an email directing you to sign these documents before the season begins. If you did not receive that email, please email [email protected] to request another email.
Screening and Health Questionnaire:
We no longer require a daily health questionnaire and temperature check. In the signed protocol document all parents, coaches and team officials agree to monitor their health and not attend any NPSC events if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
Attendance:
Any person (players, coaches, volunteers, or visitors) who is sick, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, is being /has been tested for COVID-19, or has received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 10 days should stay home. Players, coaches, or volunteers who have had close contact with a person who has symptoms, or has been tested or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days should also stay home.
If a player, coach, or volunteer is diagnosed with COVID-19, the Club may suspend that individual, or that team temporarily (for 10 days), or for the season, depending on the circumstances.
COVID Policy and Reporting:
Any person who is sick, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, is being tested for COVID-19, or has received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the last ten (10) days is prohibited from attending NPSC events.
Any exposure to COVID-19 should be reported to NPSC immediately ([email protected]). The board will convene to discuss notification and action plans which may include training and game suspension and/or season suspension. All reports of potential or confirmed COVID-19 cases will be kept confidential to the extent possible, and no personally identifying information will be released
